Roll data forward

To roll data forward in GA-Taxpro, follow these simple steps:

1. Open the client's Master Record by navigating to the File menu and selecting "Client Records."

2. In the Master Record window, locate the row of buttons at the bottom of the window.

3. Click on the "Returns" button.

4. A prompt will appear, asking you to create a Property Return for Tax Year [2024].

5. Confirm the action to create the new return.

Once you have completed these steps, all the data from the previous year will automatically roll forward into the newly created [2024] Return. This process ensures that your client's information is carried over seamlessly, saving you time and effort in preparing their current year's tax return.
