Lesson 6b: Advanced Method for Entering Additions and Disposals
Navigate to the History tab.
Click the button labeled Current & Disposed Property Items.
Ensure that the full property list is accurately captured in this table.
Use the following shortcuts to manage records within the table:
Ctrl + N to add a new record
Ctrl + T to mark a record for deletion
Ctrl + R to unmark a deletion
When adding a new property item, a pop-up will appear. Fill in all required fields, including: Year Acquired, Report as Tax Year (Returned), Description, Group, Cost
Click Add Item to save the new property.
To dispose of a property, check the box under the Disp. (Disposal) column for that item.
A disposal pop-up will appear. Fill in Date Disposed, Year Disposal Returned
Click Yes to confirm the disposal.
When finished, click the X in the upper right corner to close the table.
You will be prompted to choose how to transfer this data to Schedule A.
Select option 1 to fully rebuild Schedule A, then click Yes to confirm.
