Error Number 1298 is a printing error that can occur in GA-Taxpro software. This issue is often caused by an incorrect default printer setting in Windows. To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
Check your default printer:
In many cases, Windows may have set an unusual printer (such as "OneNote") as the default, which can lead to printing errors in GA-Taxpro.
Even if you are not printing to the Windows default printer, having an incorrect default printer can cause issues.
Set your default printer to a frequently used printer:
Open the Windows Settings and navigate to the "Devices" section.
Select "Printers & scanners" and choose a printer that you commonly use as your default printer.
Disable the automatic default printer setting:
In the "Printers & scanners" settings, look for an option called "Let Windows manage my default printer."
Turn off this feature to prevent Windows from automatically changing your default printer.
