Error Number: 1298 - Page header band is too large

Error 1298 - "Page header band is too large" is usually caused by one of two issues:

1. Fonts not installed on your workstation:

   • This can be easily resolved within our software by going to the Utilities menu and choosing "Install Fonts" from the dropdown menu.

   • This operation needs to be performed whenever you get a new workstation or change the version of Windows, as the fonts are installed into your local copy of Windows.

2. Windows using the wrong printer driver:

   • Microsoft often sets your default printer to OneNote (or similar), which can cause issues. To fix this, go to the Windows Settings / Printer window and:

     • Turn off the feature that allows Windows to control your default printer or printer choices.

       • In the "Printers & scanners" settings, look for an option called "Let Windows manage my default printer." Turn off this feature to prevent Windows from automatically changing your default printer.

     • Set your default printer manually to a physical printer, if possible.
